CV advice

When searching for employment it is critical to ensure your CV is of the absolute highest standard. A CV is generally viewed as an example of the quality of work you will deliver. We strongly recommend candidates invest time into putting together a high quality CV.

Working with Recruitment consultants

Below are a few tips to make your dealings with recruitment consultants easier.

  • Limit the number of consultants you deal with.  We recommend working with only a very limited number of specialists in your field.
  • Do your research on the consultancy prior to hitting “send” on that email with your resume attached.  360 Search recommends only speaking to established, specialist consultants within your designated industry. The amount of time a Consultant has been established in a given market is a good indication of their level of expertise.
  • Contribute to the communication process. Recruitment is incredibly busy work and most consultants are managing relationships with a high number of people at any given time. A good consultant will keep you up to date. Nevertheless, it pays to be proactive about staying in touch.
  • Don’t send your CV to anybody without carefully researching that person and their organisation first.

Search – why me?

If you have been contacted by a consultant or researcher from 360 Search your reputation has preceded you.

At 360 Search, we conduct research on a retained basis for our clients.  We undertake thorough research processes to identify leading professionals within specified target markets.  Where possible, we utilise our database and extensive professional networks to gain referrals to these professionals. Many of the professionals that we place into our clients organisations have been identified as the result of a referral from someone else in the industry who respects them.  It may have been a client, a colleague, a previous employer or other associate that referred you to 360 Search.  If you are contacted by a consultant from 360 Search, we hope that you will take it as a compliment.

Confidentiality Code

Under all Circumstances our search services are conducted under a strict code of confidentiality which protects our clients, our candidate’s and the referrer’s rights to privacy.
